This place is located right on the beach. Before we booked the listing, we asked the owner about Wi-Fi because we work remotely, and she assured us about high speed, and we will be able to work without any problems. So we booked their place. We came late around 11 pm, and paid for 3 nights. Next morning at 10 am there was no power, and the next door neighbour told us they have a power outage every weekday between 9 am - 5 pm because they have contractions. After that I saw confirmation about it on the Pedasi Facebook page. When I came down and asked the owner, her husband just replied "but you asked about Wi-Fi. What do you want?". I was really disappointed with this behaviour. Also, please see some pictures of hazards on the property.
Casa Lassini is a special place located on a cliff that overlooks the ocean. You will enjoy an ever changing beach with the tides and sunrises and sunsets that offer every color imaginable. The rooms are comfortable and shared kitchen offers everything you need to have simple meals and coffee while watching the sea. Kate and Rob are wonderful hosts and make it easy to enjoy every minute. This is a hostel so you will not be getting room service or chocolates on your pillow so if that’s what you are looking for you shouldn’t be visiting Panama. If you want to live like a local and get a sense of Panama lifestyle then this place is perfect! Open your mind and heart and great gifts will come your way. I can’t wait to return!
This place is amazing, straight out of a movie. The hostel is very clean and you have a big kitchen to cook whatever you’d like. The bedrooms have an ocean view and accessibility to take a swim in the ocean whenever you’d like. They also have a nice pool and many areas to eat and lounge. They brought out boogie boards and inflatable donuts for us to play in the ocean too. If you want to experience amazing sunrises and sunsets, and lounge on the beach, this is the place for you. Katherine and her husband were very informative and kind too.
A room right on the water! Eating and enjoying the company here really feels like visiting with family. The owners will do everything to make sure you are comfortable and and well-fed and you can get where you need to go. Plus they have a friendly cat!
Just bought by a very nice American couple who started renovations. Like the place. I'm sure this couple will make this hostel a pearl of this area. Only 4 stars because we only visited on a drive by. No experience on sleeping there. But the rooms a very clean. We got a tour around. Stunning views from the kitchen and some rooms at the ocean!
