The nicest hotel in Las Tablas. Have stayed here several times now. Never had an issue until this last visit. There is no hot water in the hotel. Either they don't want to pay to fix the boiler or they don't want to pay the high gas prices to run the boiler. Yet when we questioned it we were told that the problem was not going to be fixed and we still had to pay the full rate, no discount or anything for the inconvenience. I will stay here again, just have to be prepared to take cold showers.
My husband and I and some friends stayed here just when it was opening up after covid. Everything was great. Breakfast was included and it was okay. Now that we live in the area, we have been for lunch and the ceasar salad I had was great. My husband had pulpo (octopus) and it was one of the better ones that he has tried.
The room smelled as humid or old the bathroom wasn’t clean at all The restaurant is ok but we waited almost hour and a half for the food.
After 6 weeks of hostels and remote workaways, Hotel Presidente was pure heaven on earth for a very reasonable price. Early check-in was only $20. My room was huge, the bathroom spacious and clean with beautiful marble tiles. The rooftop pool has all day bar service from the restaurant downstairs. I was able to work on my laptop in the air conditioned restaurant. Looking forward to rooftop bar/pool this evening. If you want a super comfortable place in Las Tablas then I recommend this hotel. If you are looking for something rustic and local, look elsewhere. ????
