La Finca was one of the many reasons I will be back to Cambutal! I stayed in 2 of the 3 cabanas. Each one was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a great porch to sit outside, drink coffee, and watch the ocean. The hammocks are a great touch too! Plus you can’t beat the location and WiFi. Abby and Sean are great attentive hosts and I will absolutely stay at their beautiful property again.
La Finca is a truly beautiful space located in the perfect location in Cambutal. The casitas were super private, comfortable, up on the hill with ocean views and only a short 30 second walk to the beach. Hot showers, cold AC, soft sheets, real luxuries in the jungle. The cocina space was great for cooking and the people that hang near La Finca are all incredibly warm and welcoming!
Unfortunately, we were uncomfortable here in la rancho room. It has a smell and wasn’t clean. You could see spiderwebs inside and there was a huge spider in the bathroom. The outdoor bathroom sounds nice in theory but there’s just lots of spiders and insects around. The room itself isn’t sealed from the outside so flies could easily get in. Lightbulbs were also broken so the room felt really dark. They need to maintain this place better. Wasn’t worth the $70 we paid.
